Treasury Best Practice

IT2 - The Secure Route to Treasury Best Practice

The IT2 Treasury Management System / Treasury Workstation provides Treasuries with a proven and secure route to implement Best Practice in today’s demanding, control driven environment.

The key to the delivery of Treasury best practice resides in IT2’s functional richness, versatility, flexibility and power – combined with its unique process mapping, workbench and management dashboard tools. These enable IT2 Treasury Solutions to implement Treasury best practice solutions, which are, at the same time, easily configurable and scaleable.

Treasury Control and Management Reporting illustrate important aspects of the added value that IT2 clients achieve through implementing an IT2 best practice solution. IT2 Treasury Solutions has developed the IT2 system using as a general basis: “Guide to Treasury Best Practice and Terminology”, written by FTI, published by WWCP Limited and distributed by Treasury Associations, ISBN 1 899518 08 8.

Implementing IT2 offers a unique opportunity for the Treasurer to define and deliver the best practice solution that fits his or her department’s needs, for the present – and for the future.

Treasury Control

IT2 Treasury Solutions has achieved this revolutionary advance through developing the unique Treasury management, control, reporting and monitoring tools of process, maps, workbenches and management dashboards.

Process maps drive, manage and document Treasury workflows, supporting best practice control and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Workbenches present the information that users require, effectively and transparently.

Management dashboards combine the provision of process, management and control information with policy and regulatory compliance, configured to fit individual users’ requirements. The result is that the Treasury team’s daily cash, Treasury funding, risk management and Treasury accounting operations are fully supported by all of the essential components:

  • Immediate reference to all relevant regulatory and policy documentation;
  • Decision taking and management reporting based on complete and accurate information;
  • Automated processing, leading to operational efficiency.

Management Reporting

Best practice Treasury Management Reporting is the key to proving and documenting that Treasury management is complete, compliant and transparent. IT2 streamlines monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting through its library of best practice management reports – which is available out of the box.

Client Relationship Management

Treasury personnel and requirements inevitably change over time. The Relationship Manager’s role is to ensure that the client’s use of IT2 continues to be optimised.

This is a strategic mission, and involves establishing relationships at the appropriate senior levels of the client’s organisation. The Relationship Manager will help the client to continue to reduce risk, time wastage and cost through understanding changing business issues, and communicating how these can be effectively met using IT2. Relationship Managers meet with clients annually or more frequently, to discuss system usage, and to explain the latest developments of the IT2 system. The process may, if appropriate, include the joint development of a strategic plan, to help manage development and change into the future.

IT2 Treasury Solutions’ vision of IT2 Relationship Management is that it ensures that we maintain an open and consultative approach for as long as required, so that our clients continue to receive excellent value from their IT2 system investment, as their environment grows and changes. Our objective is to maintain a long term professional relationship based on mutual trust, term understanding and effective communication, so that achieving Treasury best practice is a continuous result.
